gotmyteam (GMT) is a hockey recruiting platform that was created by Leo Girod. The platform allows players, coaches, agents and teams to connect with one another from all over the world. Teams can post a vacancy on their team, players and coaches can search and apply to a vacancy and agents can apply to vacancies on their clients' behalf.
The platform has a heavy European focus, which is not necessarily a bad thing. North American hockey players are migrating to Europe to continue their playing careers more frequently than ever. Add to that, the fact that the platform is free for players and coaches to use, means this is an extremely useful tool for any player who is not quite sure how to go about getting a European team set up for next season.
